Louisiana Corporate Bylaws Templates (5)

Louisiana corporate bylaws are used to run board meetings, define a corporation’s operating procedures, and document characteristics such as its financial policies. In many cases, the bylaws are passed by the Louisiana corporation’s directors at the conclusion of the first board meeting since it is often considered imperative to a corporation’s health to do so.

The Louisiana corporation’s officers and directors will also be listed in the bylaws allowing for a roster of the parties who shall govern the corporation to be set in place until it is amended.

Is it REQUIRED in Louisiana?

No. Louisiana Revised Statute § 12:1-206 allows corporations the right to set bylaws that are compliant with state law however, this is not demanded by state law.
