The West Virginia single-member limited liability company agreement makes a distinction between the property of its member or single owner from the assets of the company. This is not considered part of the articles or organization required by the state of West Virginia. In fact, other than being viewed as an enforceable contract, West Virginia does not make this document a requirement. Regardless, sole members would do well to solidify policies such as the internal voting practices of the company and how the company would handle its business, disputes, and taxes.
